We provide fast, friendly, complete and accurate income tax returns for clients.  We are happy to meet with you, discuss your tax situation in depth, go over your documents, prepare and file  your individual return in a timely manner.  

Most returns are filed electronically with Revenue Canada,  often the same day.  For those receiving a refund, this means that they can frequently receive their refund within 14 days.

For groups or organizations who have many members requiring preparation of returns, we are pleased to offer an on-site Tax Preparation service.  This is ideal for organizations such as senior residences, care facilities, veterans, or other organizations.

We will come to your location, set up with an area for private conversations, assemble your documentation, and prepare the required returns.  

Depending on the number and complexity of the returns required, we may be able to prepare and file all the returns in one session.  In some cases, more than one tax preparation clinic may be necessary to serve the needs of all the members or residents.

Q. Is my privacy protected by Cheque It Bookkeeping?

A. We ensure that all personal information is protected according to Federal and Provincial regulations.  All data is digitally encrypted and password protected for your safety.  Returns are transmitted to Revenue Canada's secure site, and if any printed documents are retained, they are under lock and key at all times in our office.

Q. How much does Cheque It Bookkeeping charge to prepare my tax return?

A. The cost of each return is determined by how complexity of the individual return. For example, many senior citizens have very simple returns consisting of Old Age Security, Canada Pension Plan, and perhaps company pension income.  These are relatively simple to prepare, and the cost is low.  Returns for clients who have employment with multiple companies during the year, or who have business or  rental income, or other more complex tax situations require much more time to prepare, and the cost is slightly higher.
